Sam Mendes wird vielleicht nächster Bond-Regisseur

Ist schon eine Schande, dass ich so eine Nachricht hier reinsetzen muss, obwohl das vom Thema her eher die Aufgabe des werten Herrn 3 wäre
"It's a surpirse turn of events, but then no-one saw Marc Forster for Quantum Of Solace coming either. Sam Mendes is in negotiations to direct the next James Bond movie, so far titled Bond 23 because no-one has come up with anything better yet.
This would be the first full-on action movie for the talented helmer, who is best known for more cerebral fare with the likes of American Beauty, A Road To Perdition and the recent beautiful indie flick, Away We Go. However, there was a fair amount of gun-toting and blow-'em-up action in his 2005 Kuwait War drama Jarhead, so it seems he definitely has some of the Bond directorial qualities under his belt.
If the proposed employment goes ahead, Mendes will be working from a script written by Bond regulars Neal Purvisand Robert Wade, along with Frost/Nixon scribe Peter Morgan, and will of course be directing Daniel Craig, who is reprising his role as 007.
It might have come out of left field but we rate Mr Mendes very highly so we have our fingers crossed for his appointment to the top job." (www.screenrush.co.uk)
Wenn das wirklich passiert gibt es für mich sogar noch einen Grund mehr den zu sehen
